Study Gold Coast is the peak body for education and training on the Gold Coast and was established in 1994. This not-for-profit member based organisation is led by a committee of industry representatives and consists of approximately 100 member institutions from the Schools, ELICOS, Vocational Education and Training, Higher Education, Service Providers and Tourism Operators. The Network was established to assist its members to increase the number of international and domestic students choosing the Gold Coast as their preferred destination for study. StudyGoldCoast provides its members with services and resources, assists in facilitating marketing activities and acts as a lobbying group on behalf of the education and training industry. Any individual or organisation involved in education and training on the Gold Coast can become a member of StudyGoldCoast. The geographical coverage is from Beenleigh down to Byron Bay and out west to Beaudesert. Liaising closely with government on local, state and federal levels, the organisations mission is to support, promote and grow the region's industry in a global environment.
